This was our second project for a young family in Maryland. The clients were seeking a second home near Washington, DC, where they could retreat with their three daughters, four cats, and two dogs. Perched on the South River in Annapolis, the house offers stunning river views but required significant updating. A bright, playful palette and thoughtful use of pattern bring warmth and personality to the home’s clean Scandinavian architectural details.
